About

Hi, I'm Inga. I'm making Song of Larithea — a 2D anime-inspired tactical RPG with grid combat, magic schools, and a story that earns every twist. I work on it alone — for now.
The short version
In March 2026 I took a sabbatical from my job and started building a tactical RPG I'd been designing in my head for years. Larithea is now in private alpha on iOS. If you want to play it, join the list on the homepage — I'll email you an invite.
My background
I've been working in tech for over 15 years. Most recently I was Head of Engineering at Relevance AI until March 2026. Before that, Senior Engineering Manager at Immutable (Web3 gaming), and earlier in my career at SMG Studio, an Australian indie studio (Moving Out, Death Squared, Thumb Drift). I've also mentored with Women Who Code and Muses Code JS, spoken at Web Directions, linux.conf.au, and YOW!, and spent years organising Sydney gamedev meetups (Women in Game Development Sydney, Sydney Unity GameDev, Get That Game Done) before stepping back to focus on my own work.
Why I'm building this
I've shipped a lot of things for other people. Larithea is the one I'm shipping for me. Tactical RPGs are the genre I've loved longest, and I've always wanted to make one that feels like the games I grew up with — a real party, real combat decisions, a story that respects your time.
A note on the art
All art in Larithea is AI-generated. I use Scenario with custom-trained models to keep characters consistent across scenes. It's a solo-dev bridge while the project finds its footing. I'd love to work with a human artist as the game grows. If that's you and you like what you see, get in touch.
How to follow along
I post daily updates on Instagram and Telegram. Longer dev reflections live on the dev diary, and feature-level news on the news feed.
