Enemy stats mirror your same-school hero; Maya is the base walker

21.06.2026

Each enemy's max health and energy now copy directly from your owned same-school hero — the whole roster, not just the active party — at 1:1. If you don't own any hero in that school, the enemy falls back to 5/5. The per-fight count multiplier that used to inflate enemy stats based on hero-count vs enemy-count (1.5× solo, 1× duo, heroCount over enemyCount for three or more) comes out entirely, so swapping party size doesn't change how big the enemy is. L1 tutorial caps stay at 5/5.

The teahouse and the other base hubs used to put the first 'selected' hero on screen, which meant a required-hero story party could leave a non-Maya hero standing in for her at base. The base walker is now hard-pinned to Maya, so the base protagonist reads as Maya regardless of who the active party is. Story scenes get a priority fallback — Maya, then Tara, Nell, Grey, Dart — for the rare case a party doesn't include Maya, so the walking screen still has someone driving it instead of breaking.

The L11 enemy spell-strength scaling used to cover only the temple range. It now also runs from down-the-gorge and gorge (chain positions 8 and 9) through strange-ruins, so the harder spell-strength band is one continuous stretch from down-the-gorge onward instead of two isolated patches.
