Dialogue types itself out now — plus three new spell effects
09.08.2026
Dialogue reveals itself now. The standard pink dialogue box — the one behind story scenes, your base, fights and tutorials — used to drop each line in whole; it now types out letter by letter at a readable pace. Tap once while a line is still going and it fills in instantly; tap again and you move on to the next line. If you'd rather have it all at once, the text-speed setting is still in Settings — you can turn the reveal off, or speed it up and slow it down. (Cutscene panels, comic speech bubbles and shout-out barks still show their text whole, since those advance on their own timers.)
Tapping to skip a line also actually works now. It had a bug where a tap during the reveal looked dead — the line would fill in and then quietly walk itself back to half-finished a frame later, and there was no way past it until the reveal ran out on its own. That's fixed: a tap finishes the line, and the next tap moves on.
Three new spell effects joined the fight. Nell's Berserker is a slow-burn buff he casts on himself: nothing happens while he's healthy, but the moment his health drops under a quarter his damage spells land double — and it switches back off once he's healed above that line. Grey's Reinforce picks one ally and tops up both their health and their energy at once. And Dart's Mirror wraps a chosen enemy in a reflect shield: while it holds, any hit that enemy lands on one of your heroes bounces its own strength straight back at it.
