The Demo Comes to itch.io
Alpha · Alpha 9.4.0 · 01.10.26
The itch.io build is the same demo as app.larithea.com: the demo wall holds, and the upload happens on every release with no manual step. On itch the page shows the game from our own address, itch.larithea.com, so your save and your sign-in stay yours and no other game on itch can reach them. Players on itch and players on app.larithea.com are counted apart, so each place gets its own numbers.
Signing in with Google on itch opens a small window on app.larithea.com, where Google's own button lives. The window hands the game its sign-in and closes itself. A blocked window or a window closed early tells you so instead of waiting forever. Apple sign-in is not offered on itch, because Apple's web sign-in has to return to a domain the game owns.
On a phone or tablet the itch build shows a screen instead of the game: Song of Larithea is made for a computer screen. iPhone and iPad players get a button to be notified when the App Store version is ready, Android players one for the Play Store version, and everyone gets the free demo on Steam.
A track switch or a cut voice line in the browser no longer raises an error. This was the top problem report from the Steam demo, nearly a hundred times, and it is gone.
Dart's nine summer portraits arrive in the cutscenes. In the Arena, when Jev's answer is unusable the pack plays its fallback plan instead of losing the turn.
